Good job on the tutorial
To the author:
While I am an expert in HTML and various programming languages...this tutorial is a good starter for those who do not know how to hardcode HTML.
To EyesOnlyUS:
I want to clear up something. HTML and programming languages are two totally different monsters. HTML is only a specially formatted text file. Programming languages are the high-level means to generate assembly code.
I suggest that one don't try to understand assembly code, unless they know how the machine functions. Assembly languages even confuse me, and I know VB, C/C++, Java, Perl, Scheme, Prolog, DOS Batch, Applescript, and general SQL.
The only languages very close to HTML are Java, Visual Basic (ASP), and perl, only because they provide the major functionality of today's WWW.
In all due respects, the only way one would really want to know HTML with programming languages is if they want to develop a browser of their own like IE and Netscape.
